FILM – The Illusionist – Thursday 10th March @ 8pm. Adm.€6
Director: Sylvain Chomet. UK, France 2010. 79 mins
Animation.

A delicately drawn and delightful second feature film from director Chomet that tells the whimsical tale (based on the unrealised script by Jacques Tati) of a weary and over-the-hill vaudeville magician and his quest for work. We follow him as he treks from Paris to the Western Isles and on to Edinburgh, acquiring along the way a young travelling companion who sincerely believes in his magical abilities.
