Kenmare Bay Hotel voted best overall wedding venue!

The Kenmare Bay Hotel & Resort was recently voted best overall wedding venue of the year! It's a great honour and we'd like to thank everyone who voted for us.

I think it's fair to say that we are popular with brides and grooms in the key areas of our Banqueting Suite, our food and our staff. But we are also lucky enough to be situated on the edge of the beautiful little town of Kenmare. Anyone who has visited Kenmare will know what I'm talking about. It not only offers award-winning restaurants, more pubs than you can shake a stick at and several unusual, quirky shops but it also has a great atmosphere and lively night life with late night bar extensions and live music in several of the bars. We've hosted several weddings at the Kenmare Bay Hotel where the couple was from Dublin, Limerick, Northern Ireland, England etc and in each case most of their guests made a weekend of the wedding - some choosing to stay in our holiday homes or luxury lodges - and then made full use of Kenmare town, which is only a short stroll from the hotel via a pathway. There's so much to see and do in and around Kenmare - walking, golf, horse-riding, land & water-based activities, pet farms - it's worth staying a couple of nights or more.
