My wife and I were several days into our self-directed driving tour of Ireland, and were starting to run out of gas...we had just driven from Dingle to Killarney and Muckross House, and looked forward to getting to Kenmare for the night...we did not realize that the N71 was going to be such a gorgeous but treacherous leg of our trip, so by the time we reached Kenmare, we were absolutely fried.
