Eggciting Easter in Kenmare

The sun is splitting the stones in Kenmare, the flowers are out, people are out and everyone is smiling! We’re really hoping it’s going to stay that way for Easter – but come rain or shine, you’re guaranteed a great time in Kenmare. If you haven’t visited Kenmare for a while, there’s a new restaurant for you to try out – Charcoal, just off Henry Street. Beautiful decor and furniture, great tasting food and value for money. What more could you want? There’re a couple of new shops in town too – Fat Face has been here for a few months now and there’s a lovely new German jewellery shop in Henry Street. While you’re here, don’t forget to visit JAM and spoil yourself with a lovely home-made cake or dessert, and not forgetting The Truffle Pig with its mouth-watering array of goodies. They have a little cafe attached to the shop now as well. All to be found in our thriving little Henry Street! There’ll be a great atmosphere in town throughout the Easter holidays, with live music in the pubs and of course our regular Wednesday market in the Square. On Easter Sunday there’s an Easter Egg hunt at 3.00 pm in Reen-na-gros park. Star Outdoors are running a kids camp; Dromquinna Stables offer riding for beginners (including Pony rides) to experienced riders and of course for Dads, there’s the 2 golf courses or some peaceful fishing in Kenmare Bay. Mustn’t leave out the Mums; Renew Beauty at the Bay Health Club has some fabulous relaxing treatments just waiting for you.

Bring the family to the Kenmare Bay Hotel for a mid-week Easter break. Just €249 for 2 adults + 2 kids sharing for 2 nights B&B + 1 Dinner + 1 Kids Club session. Valid Sunday – Friday nights inclusive. See our specials on www.kenmarebayhotel.com/specials. An Easter family break in Kenmare. It’s eggactly what you need.
